Transparency is really important to me. In order to got the ground running I need the brands I work with to trust me. Over the past eleven years I have worked with a diverse range of clients and from this I have come up with an adaptable process that can tie marketing closer to sales and ensure its effectiveness.
Below you'll find some of the major projects in chronological order. Some things have aged better than overs, but here it is, warts and all!
Proservartner
Proservartner are an international consulting firm who wanted to grow rapidly in the automation space. Working from nothing, I developed a complete new marketing suite with several different verticals, industries and product types. This included a new website, whitepapers, flyers and videos.
Bronte Precision
Bronte had a number of core customer it served but little outside this. This put them in a precarious position should any of their clients suddenly not need them. My aim was to attract several new and bigger customers to the business.
B&B Precision
High Velocity Oxygen Fuelled (or HVOF) applied coatings are used in industry for components that need to perform at extreme temperatures, high wear and corrosive environments. B&B had invested heavily in this new technology but had struggled to find demand.

Over 5 years I built up this digital focused media agency from nothing to having a healthy client base and portfolio. I worked alongside a diverse range of clients in planning, producing and executing their marketing strategies

The Civil Service
Alongside an annual conference to manage, I had to develop a website and standalone 'careers' focused app as well as promotional videos for 25 heads of governmental profession within the civil service.
Ford, Jaguar, Honda & BMW
I worked with a larger marketing agency producing localised TV ads for a number of car companies: As the trust grew between us I was able to work on bigger projects with bigger budgets including elements for an international car advert.
The Consulting Consortium
The Consulting Consortium or TCC are a specialist compliance company dealing with financial sector firms. They were going through a rebrand and needed someone to assess and enhance their offering. It soon became clear TCC needed help establishing a joint up approach to marketing and sales.
Vodafone
I helped Vodafone with their internal comms producing content for a number of teams in the UK and then focused primarily on the B2B sales teams. As someone who had done sales I had a clear insight into the ups and downs of that life and could speak in a natural tone of voice to that audience
Charity Right
Charity Right are an international Islamic food programme providing regular school meals to children in hard to reach places. As Head of Marketing I oversaw every element of marketing for the charity and increasing donations.
How 2 Franchise
I worked with this business and their clients for more than seven years. Franchising and its associated marketing can be very cheesy and try to sell a lifestyle of comfort which is a far cry from the reality. I had success in going into the fine details with different clients about their offering.
Mez eco coffee
I came up with the branding and store layout for this chain of cafe's as well as working on their marketing mix and franchising offer.
Yog & Choc House
I worked on a campaign to recruit franchisees for this sweet treat business. They had been burnt in the past by marketing firms who had not delivered and were particularly cautious. I managed to deliver a campaign with instant ROI and went on to work with them successfully for many years.
Homeless World Cup
The Homeless World Cup is a yearly soccer tournament that raises awareness and encourages co-ordination between a variety of international charities. I worked with the core marketing teams in each of the host countries for 3 years as well as putting in my own bid to host the event.
Action 4 Employment
Organising, producing and distributing content, my role was full production of video and written content. Developing relationships alongside organisations like The Koestler Trust, Vox Centre and various employers, I produced around 175 videos and 150 written articles for the company. This included ghost writing the chairwoman's article in the Daily Express and my video content was used in the successful Work Programme Bid.
British Heart Foundation
I lead the media promotion for this year-long fundraising project in Sheffield which had a target of £2.5m. This included promoting and filming several different fundraising events and engaging with the local press.
